James told the newspaper that the wedding ceremony will be small, with just close family and friends attending, while about 120 more people will join them for a reception. Intervijā izdevumam «Daily Mail» par gaidāmajām kāzām karaliskās ģimenes loceklis atklāja, ka vēlas apprecēties sava partnera dēļ. «Es patiešām gribu to izdarīt Džeimsa dēļ. Viņš nav bijis precējies. Par mani interesanti ir tas, ka man nav nepieciešams precēties, jo esmu to jau darījis, man ir brīnišķīgi bērni, bet izlēmu par labu laulībai, jo domāju, ka viņam tas ir svarīgi. Džeimsam nav bijusi tik stabila dzīve kā man. Es vēlos viņam to sniegt.»

Karalienes brālēns atklāja, ka visas viņa trīs meitas ir priecīgi satrauktas par gaidāmajām kāzām, norādot, ka «mūsdienās tas ir normāli».

Kāzu ceremonija notiks šovasar šaurā ģimenes lokā, to apmeklējot tikai meitām, tuvākajiem ģimenes locekļiem un draugiem. Ceremonija norisināsies privātā kapelā, kas atrodas karaļnama privātīpašumā Devonā.

Lords Ivars atklāja, ka bildinājuma abu starpā nebija, taču viņš un Džeimss savā starpā vienojušies par laulībām.
